A: According to the info you provide us, we think that this happens maybe due to the load is too high, which caused the built-in BMS cut-off the battery for protection.
Our 12V 100Ah battery built-in 100A BMS, supports Max 1280W load power and Max 100A continuous charge/discharge current. Pls kindly help check whether our battery could support your application.
If the BMS has cut-off the battery for protection, you need to cut off the load of the battery and put the battery aside for 30mins. Then the battery will automatically recover itself to normal voltage and can be used after fully charged.
A: Sure, you can use this battery for your marine house, besides, LANPWR LiFePO4 battery is widely used for Marine, Car, Golf car, RV, Solar power Systems, Home Energy Storage, Trolling Motor, Boat, motorhome & camper, etc.
A: Our 12V 100Ah battery supports Max 1280W load power and Max 100A continuous charge/discharge current, and the battery is the storage battery instead of the start-up battery. Generally, we do not recommend using our battery for any application that need to be started. Because the golf cart generates a high current when starting, going uphill, or accelerating, the BMS board is activated for protection; over time, the BMS will be damaged, resulting in the battery.
A: We suggest connect batteries of the same capacity from the same brand. Using batteries of different brands and capacities in parallel or in series will damage the BMS and damage the battery.
A: You can connect 8 batteries as 2 in parallel and 4 in series to build a 48V (51.2V) 200Ah battery system.
A: BMS stands for battery management system. This is the brain of our deep cycle lithium battery. The BMS protects the lithium cells from getting damaged in several scenarios.1. From low or high voltage, low or high temperatures, if there is a short in the system, it will shut off. The BMS shuts off the battery to protect the li-ion cells and the user from unsafe operating conditions. 2. The BMS also regulates the amount of power you can take out of the battery. On our 100 amp-hour battery, the BMS is rated to 100 amps continuous, maximum pulse current 300A (<3s). 3. Our BMS also keeps all the cells in balance. This ensures that the cells are always in balance and maintains the quality and efficiency of the pack.
A: LiFePO4 batteries should be “topped off” after each use. For greatest longevity, we recommend not fully discharging the battery nor over-charging by leaving it connected to a charger well beyond its full charge cycle. Remember that over the long term, the battery has a limited number of charge and discharge cycles with “one cycle” being either a complete charge and discharge cycle, or a cumulative of both to add up to a full cycle.
A: Yes, LANPWR 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery can be connected in parallels and in series for larger capacity (Max 400Ah ) and higher voltage (24V, 36V, 48V). Max Connection in series: Up to 4 identical batteries for up to 48V and a load of 5,120Wh. Connection in parallels: Up to 4 identical batteries for up to 400Ah capacity. Various combinations make it perfect for RV, caravan, solar, marine, home storage and off-grid application.
A: Yes, connecting multiple batteries together to create a higher voltage is called connecting in series. Our 12V batteries can be connected in series up to 48V maximum. Wiring batteries in series is common practice in the boating and solar storage community.
A: Due to the different manufacturers of battery parts, we do not recommend connecting the battery in series and parallel with other brands, which will affect battery function and also affect your product warranty.
A: LANPWR LiFePO4 battery are IP55 waterproof design, but remember that water and electricity are a bad combination. Prolonged exposure to a high-moisture environment may cause water to penetrate the battery and cause irreversible damage. Like with most electronics, never submerge a LANPWR LiFePO4 battery.
